This year’s Mardi Gras brought a vibrant resurgence to New Orleans, with hotel occupancy rates reaching their highest since the pandemic began. Between February 28 and Mardi Gras day, average occupancy was around 86%, a significant leap towards pre-COVID levels. Notably, hotels in the Central Business District and French Quarter achieved an impressive 97% occupancy during Super Bowl weekend, reflecting the city’s enduring allure and the unwavering spirit of celebration.
